FAQ

THE PRODUCTS

What is the difference between Collagen Deluxe and Repair?
Deluxe contains 12,500 mg of hydrolyzed marine collagen while Repair contains 10,000 mg. Otherwise, they have exactly the same ingredients and ingredient levels.

Does Vegan have the same effect as Deluxe and Repair?
Collagen contains 19 amino acids, some of which are particularly crucial. Collagen Vegan contains a high concentration of just these amino acids, which in Vegan are 100% plant-based. In addition, Vegan contains the same vitamins and minerals as Deluxe and Repair, such as a high amount of D-biotin, vitamins C, B12 and D3, as well as zinc, msm and hyaluronic acid. A total of 21 active ingredients work together to boost collagen levels in the body.

How often should I take it for the best effect?
We recommend a daily dose of 25ml, with compliance (daily intake over time) being crucial for maximum effect. There are also other lifestyle factors that affect the well-being of skin, hair and nails such as smoking, diet and UVA/UVB radiation. With a daily dose of collagen, a well-balanced nutritious diet, high sun protection and by avoiding smoking, you will get the absolute best effect.

When will I see results?
When results start to show is highly individual as factors such as age, lifestyle and how you take care of your skin also play a part. But in general, results from daily use tend to appear within eight weeks.

Where does your collagen come from?
Our Collagen Deluxe and Collagen Repair products contain marine collagen derived from the scales of fish. The collagen is hydrolyzed into peptides with a molecular weight of Da 2000. The hydrolysis process makes the collagen completely odourless and tasteless.

Does it taste like fish?
No, the collagen in our products is hydrolyzed, which removes all odour and taste. Instead, Collagen Repair, Deluxe and Vegan have a natural wild berry flavour, which we add after the hydrolysis process.

How long does a bottle last?
A 500ml bottle lasts for 20 days, with a recommended daily intake of 25 ml. Store unopened bottles in a dry and cool place and opened bottles in the refrigerator.

COLLAGEN

What is collagen?
Collagen is a protein found in the body that makes up the majority of the body's structure and is one of the building blocks of skin, muscles, ligaments, tendons, hair and nails, among other things. As we age, the body's production of collagen decreases, causing the skin to lose its elasticity and volume, the hair to thin and the nails to become brittle. By regularly consuming collagen, you can boost your body's levels and slow down skin ageing.

What time of day is it best to take Swedish Collagen?
You can take our collagen supplements at any time that suits you best. Our products have been developed to be easily integrated into your routine. That is why collagen is absorbed by the body in an optimal way, regardless of whether it is taken in the morning or in the evening, in combination with food or on an empty stomach. The important thing is that it is taken daily.

Our liquid products contain vitamin B, a valuable energy source. For people who are more sensitive to this dose of energy due to vitamin B, we recommend that they take it in the morning and not in the evening.

Can I get too much collagen?
Yes, but you need quite a lot. 25 ml/day of Collagen Deluxe (12,500 mg) gives you a generous but safe amount of collagen.

Does collagen help with dry skin?
Collagen makes skin smoother and less dry. This is because the collagen peptides activate the skin's fibroblast cells to produce hyaluronic acid, which binds moisture in the skin. Our products also contain extra hyaluronic acid to further boost the effect, as well as vitamins and minerals that stimulate the skin to produce more collagen.

How can collagen also affect hair and nails?
Collagen is a protein found in the body that makes up the majority of the body's structure and is one of the building blocks of skin, hair and nails. With age, the body's production of collagen decreases, causing not only the skin but also the hair to lose its elasticity and become thinner.

Collagen levels also affect nails, which become more brittle when collagen levels are reduced. By regularly consuming collagen, you can boost your body's collagen levels and maintain the elasticity not only of your skin, but also of your hair and nails.

What does it mean that collagen is hydrolyzed?
In the hydrolysis process, collagen is broken down into tiny, tiny collagen peptides that are easier for the body to absorb. The process also makes the collagen tasteless and odourless.
